Is my data/privacy secure on Voila?

Some of the most often asked questions:

1. What are you doing with my face and photo when I upload it to Voila?

-- We don't collect your face data, especially not biometric data of your face. We don't store your photos for any further use. Your photos are used only for creating your cartoons and arts. They will be deleted after the processing is done. 

2. Who has the rights over my processed photos?

-- Your processed photos are owned by you and free to use for your personal use only. Commercial use is not allowed.

3. What are you doing with my photo when you hide it behind the ads?

-- Almost every free app has ads. That is how we are able to keep the app free and to continue with development and improving it. We don't hide your photos behind the ads, that is where the ads are placed because nowhere else you would watch them, right? And we need you to watch the ads to keep the app running for free. Fair enough? So, while you are watching the ads, your processed photo(s) is sitting there completely bored and waiting for you impatiently to be amazed with its outcome :) 

4. Some websites and magazines told me to send you written "Withdrawal of Consent" to protect my rights.

-- Unfortunately some websites and magazines can't understand why some small company became Top 1 app "overnight", so instead to contact us and get some facts, and possibly write the story about some people who made their dream come true, without anyone's help, with just their creativity and hard work - who would not love to read such story about hardworking people who made a great, fun app that makes everyone smile and reached top 1? - they go with an easier solution to sell some news: assumptions. Making these baseless assumptions that every developer will somehow misuse your datas are not only inaccurate but can be dangerous in spreading lies and fear. We hope the media do better in writing the articles which are based on truth and bother to find out about it instead of spreading unnecessary fears. 

So sure you can send Withdrawal of Consent, but it is really unfair that you are pushed to invest time in writing it and living in fear -  while with or without it: your rights, data, photos, security etc. are already safe and protected on Voila AI Artist app, that was our number 1 target, to make completely safe and fun creative app. 

With or without withdrawal of your consent - all your info is already completely safe, you have never agreed to anything unsafe for your personal data on Voila in the first place.
